| as I do with the concept of God, of Jesus, of Religion (with a capital R) and with the "Big Questions", I commend this book. Approach it with an open mind and an open heart. Question what it says and see where those questions lead you.

| I love the meaning of this book. I love the self help, self realization, self love, etc..that this book offers. That being said, I find this book as well as all of Eckhart Tolle's other books to be difficult to enjoy reading. For me, it seems to take him 4 pages or more to relay thoughts that could have been written in 2 paragraphs. | After I had read the book I thought I understood it. However, a week later I kept thinking about it and got somewhat confused so I read it again. Now my wife is reading it. It really made me think about the wisdom of God. |

| A lot of people really did not understand this book. The energy is so subtle that most people are not even in tune to that part of themselves. I do believe that creative and telepathic people have an easier time with this book than others. It's not about 'wishing' for things. You first of all have to be aware of what you really 'want'. | The book is a quick read. It is written in a straight forward kind of way and makes sense on an intellectual, as well as an emotional level.
I truly liked the fact that he is pointing out the differences between true love and being in love; and does so much better than any other book I have ever read on similar topics. | Should be required reading for . . . for everyone who can read. Puts a face, a voice, a mind, a spirit to something that is so hard to comprehend that it often can feel more like an idea than a reality. A truly moving book. Also, I would recommend the PBS documentary made about Wiesel that was produced, written and edited by David Grossbach and Rob Gardner. |

| Not a complete explanation of God, of course. But it must be one of the most clear and comprehensive ones. The author relies heavily on the Christian writers C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton. But he does not ignore the opposition. Timothy Keller also very clearly explains the reasoning of popular atheist writers like Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchins. Also other religions are not ignored. You can gain a hell of a good religious education from just this one book.
