| My son loves this book. He's really into drawing and loves the how-to-draw books, and this was no exception. Within minutes he was whipping up poke'mon from the pages of the book onto paper and making his own comic book of them. Great for any pokemon fan who loves to draw! |

| I got this book what must have been ten years ago now (Dang, I was six! Time flies) and I absolutely adored it!
The illustrations, from what I can remember, were very good and in some cases very funny. In the humorous sort of way. Each page was challenging for me, but not so hard that I'd throw a fit. | I think this book should be renamed to "The Ultimate History of ME!" cause it pretty much tells the story of my life growing up with consoles and trips to the arcade.
It's a wealth of knowledge, the most concise history of video games you'll find out there - and best of all it's a fun, exciting read. The size can be a bit intimidating, but any fans of video games will fly right through this. Highly recommended for any former video game addicts from the 80's like myself! |

| I bought this game with the hope that they had done away with some of the overly childish and frankly lame additions that were included in the emerald and ruby versions i.e. the pokemon contests for instance. They should have stuck with what they had going good with gold and silver. those games simply added to the strategies possible and made battling monsters that much more exciting. | The kids just love this book. Amazing how they can sound out each name and read all about these characters. This book tells about the height and weight of the characters so my guys have been measuring and weighing things to get a better idea of how big the characters are. | I regret bying this peice. I bought it right when fire red and leaf green first came out. It does not halve the complete walkthrough. It cuts out on the islands, only showing you three of the seven islands. I think it might not even tell you there are seven Islands.Nor does it mention anything about getting ho-hoh, lugia, or deoxys. if you get stuck there, you'd be screwed. you think they put in a few more pages to give you all of the game. by time i got to the end and did not have four islands, i was so mad.
