| My boys, ages 4 and 2, absolutely LOVE this book!! They are huge Blue's Clues fans and my youngest son actually got this book for his 1st Birthday. My boys looked at it so much that it started to fall apart. So, I just got them a new one. They look at it everyday. And have fought too many times to keep track over who was going to look at it during "quiet time" (about 30 minutes before bedtime or naptime). It's probably the cutest book they have. | This book tries to oversimplify the meaning of holidays in December for children. By doing this, it actually changes the meaning of the holidays, and I think adds more confusion than just explaning the real meanings. Christmas is not the celebration of "birth", it is the celebration of Jesus's birth. I don't know anyone who goes to a hospital to celebrate birth, or hangs diapers and rattles on their house on December 25th.
