| I bought this book for my daughter - in paperback, hardback, coloring book, etc.! This was her all-time favorite book growing up and now I'm buying it for her newborn son! That makes me really think this is a book "for generations". |

| I pity the fool who has to read this book for school. It truly is a horrible book. Even my teacher, who is passionate about nearly everything he teaches, admits that he hates the book. |

| I teach kindergarten, and this book was great to use for shared reading. The students loved the big, colorful pictures, and the story about funny names. |

| I was so excited to find Goodnight Moon in Spanish, as the English version was a favorite of my siblings 20 years ago, and my 15 month old son today. We have dozens of Spanish translations of English books, some of which work better than others. I had hoped this one would at least be okay, but for me, it seems very awkward and loses the charm of the original; and my son will not listen to even a page read in Spanish.

| We took this book on CD on a road trip from TX to Montana. Boy did it come in handy. My kids were ages 11 and 13 at the time, and they both really enjoyed this book. These kids are not easy to please either. My husband and I liked it as well. The narration was great, and the story was very entertaining. If you are going on a long road trip with kids, this is a must have. We had "Hoot" with us as well, but that was before the movie came out. |
