| Next year I'm going to model my girl's birthday party after this book--it's so cute and such a great theme. Harper Collins even put a free birthday planning kit with activities on the web--you can google the book and it will come up with it. So, buying the book and using the activities the publisher has put on the web is a really inexpensive and fun way to plan a party! But the best part is that my girls really love this book! |

| I started reading this to my son when he turned 2, and at first, he was o nly interested in the illustration that had a fan depicted. I would read the first 1-2 pages of the book, and he would quickly flip over to his favorite page and then we were done with the book. However, I used to read it to him every day and soon he progressed to actually letting me read the entire story to him. | This book is definitely not the same format as the other If You Give books. As another reviewer mentioned, it is primarily a counting books without many words. However, my toddler enjoyed it. We had a good time pointing out and examining the many ornaments on the last page. |
