| My mom gave me this book. I was a 20 year old single mother and started reading this book to my son when he was about 4 years old. We would put it away for a couple of days and read something else, but we would always go back to it. My son was asking for the book a couple a months ago. | Being a big fan of Guess How Much I Love You, I had to get this book the minute it was published. It absolutely did not disappoint.
None of my children are picture book age any more. The youngest is nine years old, the oldest is 27, but they all love this book too. It transcends age. | My husband and I love this little book. It is a very touching story that is especially great for a father to read to his baby (especially a son). The illustrations are beautiful. The reason why I gave it only 4 stars is because, although we LOVE the illustrations, they are pretty small. I think larger drawings would be better and more interesting for babies and very small children. Otherwise, the story is interesting and heartwarming, and not at all a chore to read over and over and over again. |

| Simple book that is easy for a child to like and to understand. More so if your child like bunnies. The illustrations are lively and fun.
It is a nice bonding book. A perfect reading for bedtime. You can tell her, just before she closes her eyes, "I love you as high as the moon and back". |

| I bought this book for my 2-year-old son after seeing it at a friends house. It is very sweet, touching and has such cute illustrations. It's a big part of our bedtime ritual and my son loves to hear it read. Defintately a top five book (and trust me, we have read many)! This will be part of our reading repetoire for years--and children--to come! |

| Wonderful illustrations and a warm, loving story about a little bear and his mother on a cold & wintry night (you can almost hear the wind howl and the cold of the window panes from the pictures). Sam isn't feeling well and like most children doesn't want to take the medicine that will make him feel better. Lovely ending and makes you want to curl up by the fire with a good book and watch it snow. My personal favorite of the Sam books. |

| Although this book is very cute and doesn't go overboard recording every move the baby makes, it leaves out important info. There's no place to record gifts/baby showers or visitors to the hospital or home after the baby is born. One reason I rushed to get a book was so I could start recording the baby gifts we're receiving but this book was no help.

| I bought this book because my son's name is Samuel and it seemed like a it had a good message. But as someone mentioned earlier, it should have emphasized the title's message more. Plus there is a lot of redundancy in the language. It repeats irrelevant phrases or words. It's rather annoying to read. The illustrations are nice though the mother bear is wearing a green sweater and so initially, looking at the pictures, which the kids pick up on first too, I thought she was a papa bear. | I purchased this for a neighbor expecting her third child. I have three children myself and thought the story was cute and great when expecting another child. Animals were a nice touch. I would recommend this and would like to get one for my own children. |
