| My 2 1/2 year old loves this book. The characters "Large" and "Small" are simple, and the theme is "I love you no matter what." When "Small" is feeling "grim and grumpy," Large reassures her that she loves Small no matter what. Its very reassuring to my daughter, and when she's throwing a fit, we ask her if she's grim and grumpy. We usually get a pathetic "yes." Then we tell her we love her no matter what! |

| My 2 year old daughter likes this book, but like some other reviewers, I initially though the names were a bit repetitive and the writing stilted. Still, it was a favorite so I toughed it out. Then one evening I was in a strange mood on the second or third reading and started using a funny deep voice for Willoughby. | Reading this reminded me of the Seuss classic The Lorax. It's an important and updated addition to any picture book collection. It's also a wonderful choice for anyone who wants to share the importance of caring for the environment with kids. The illustrations are beautiful, playful yet serious, and I love the rhyming text. Great for children of all ages. |

| "What Can I Give Him" is a lovely treatment of the whimsical poem and Anglican hymn ("In the Bleak Midwinter") about Jesus' birth. Debi Gliori captures the universality of the message of God's visit by juxtaposing scenes from BC Bethlehem and from a "bleak midwinter" in modern Western Europe. The child protagonist in this short drama concludes, as does the hymn, that the appropriate gift for an almighty savior is the one thing she has to give that he does not already own, "my heart." |

| I really love this book and as another user has stated I think every family should have even they aren't going through a loss. This is one of the only stories for kids I've read dealing with those left behind by death. The death occurs very early in the story and the rest is about his friends over coming their sadness and learning to live without him while still remembering him. | It's a great book and I highly recommend it for any dog lover.
Edward has always wanted a dog and when his uncle comes, he's living with one! He truly falls in love with the dog after it does many heroic things, such as saving Edward when he gets in a fight with his worst enemy Martin. Then, his uncle leaves and Edward is heart broken. Will he ever see his uncle's beloved dog again? |

| Pure Dead Wicked by Debi Gliori is a decent book but I would not reccomend it for younger reader because it has several difficult words to read and understand, particularly the proper nouns. I would reccomed this book to middle aged readers or more advanced reader who enjoy books with plenty of action without going overboard . The book moves along quite consistantly and the plot is somewhat is somewhat interesting. This book is fairly easy to read and i would rate this book at three (3) stars. |
