| Though the cover is gross, we enjoyed the author's other book Oh, Yuck so we purchased this one. These books are filled with fun and interesting information. The author has a great sense of humor and presents topics in a way that is fun to read. My child, and even adults we showed the books to, were fascintated. Books like this help make science and history interesting. |

| I purchased this for my 9 year old son who loves to read.
I gave it to him at the start of a 13 hour car trip. He read it for the first 5 hours without a peep other than asking for some word definitions. He went back to it for at least another two hours later on and picked it up today after reading it all day yesterday. I would highly recommend this book for its short but interesting factoids. | I read this book with my 6 year old daughter based on other reader reviews. I have to say that is was right on. Any younger, it may have missed the mark. It really addresses who is appropriate to touch or see our bodies. Of course, we talked about what we read, which made it even better. |

| It doesn't matter how old you are, if you were interested enough in mathematical books to click this review you should buy this book. My PhD engineer liked it, and so did my fifth graders. |

| My son doesn't stay focused on reading for long periods. He likes this one very much. It can be enjoyed in short readings and in any order you choose. If you remember Boy Scout Manuals and how much fun they made learning, buy this for your son, he'll like it. |

| First of all, I agree with the other reviewers who said that this series is screaming for Tim Burton. A movie version of May would be fabulous, especially if she is brought to life by the fabulous Mr. Burton.
That said, I don't think there are too many stories out there like the May Bird series. I have read all three and think they are all wonderful.
