| I bought this for my 3 year old son after reading it in our pediatrician's waiting room. My son thinks it's hilarious and it's one of his favorites. It helps show him that moms love their kids no matter what, while keeping his interest with its silliness. |

| Even if I won't ever be in all the places this book is discribing, it has incredible value for me and my son's outdoors adventures! There might be conflicting information out there about Bear Grylls but we don't care!. We still enjoy his amazing book. Way to go, Bear! |

| This non fiction story is filled with interesting adventure. A young boy setting off to sail the world. Finding new friendships, discovering beautiful places and falling in love with a girl that was raised not too far from his home in the U.S., yet met half way around the world. A very good read. |

| The book was pretty good as I recall (it was a while back when I read the book). If I remember right, the book seemed liked it ended TOO abruptly (Mazer left 'ya hanging). But after searching on Amazon I see why: There's a Sequel. It was A good book overall.
P.s. If I recall corectly, There was some mild profanity in it. |

| Here is one terrific writer who as a parent I would encourage you and your kids to select from some terrifically written books especially for kids who don't read enough or haven't grasp the value of well written books!
I read with both of your younger kids to keep them honest (i.e no shortcuts) and to insure they have comprehended the story well enough to have something meaningful discussion to talk about.
