| this is a must have for MDs and pharmacists to treat any sort of infection. It has suggested treatments, doses, and durations. In addition, it has a section where microbes that are relatively uncommon and the drugs that treat them. It has renal dosages and common and severe side effects for the drugs. | I got this book after seeing Dr. Amen on PBS - the book is very good. He does a great job with the diagnosis of each type of ADD. My son, who is 12, has alwasy been distracted more so than hyper but very oppostional - to find out that there are different "types" or ways ADD manifests with different people was refreshing - you understand more why one medicine works better for some kids better than others. | It's really amaizing. The quality as a book wich is increase ( in page quality , in colour illustration etc.)
The thing I appreciate most is the fact in wich you have the entire cycle of the medicine into and describe in a master form that I've finded only in "Harrison". | At this point, mostly everyone knows the story of what happened to Jean-Dominique Bauby as well as the story of his life, so it's pointless to rehash what's already common knowledge, but one thing that needs to be said (or reiterated) is that it's absolutely amazing that the late Bauby dictated this book to his therapist by blinking one letter at a time.

| I have spent many many hours in the UofG (University of Google) and could relate to this book 100% I could not put it down and finished it in a few hours. My son does not have any diagnosis at this point and may or may not have autism, but it gives so much hope for the future. | I had my first heart attack at 43. One stent was placed in my LAD. I had a second heart attack last year at 48, two more stents. I was very lucky, yet again. I thought I was being good on my nutriton and exercise plan. It was not enough. Dr Esselstyn helps to explain why in this book. He gets right to the point and tells you why you need to follow his plan if you have heart disease. Some of the reviewers complain that the book is half recipies. I don't understand this at all. You will need them to make the transition to this lifestyle.
