| The books in this series are among our favorite. My daughter is 2 1/2 and request that we read "Russell" almost every night. Adorable stories, AMAZING illustrations. I recommend all of the books - check out Russell and the Lost Treasure and the Christmas edition, too. Very cute, very loved at our home. |

| I'm a children's librarian, so I come across a lot of books and very few stand up to many readings. This book is one of them. It's fun for the parents to read aloud, with a rolicking beat and humorous story. We've owned this book since my son's first birthday. He loved it then and at eighteen months, it is still one of his favorites. The illustrations are simple and pleasing with enough detail to invite a closer examination. I highly recommend it! |

| My husband loved this book as a child and bought it to read to our daughter when I was pregnant with her! Now, she is 2.5 and really into more detailed books at bed time. We recently started reading it to her, and she loves it! We are building our Serendipity library now! Oh, and living in Seattle adds to the excitment of the book! |

| We bought this book when my now 3 year old was an infant. At only a few months old she would just sit (lay) and listen to me reading this book. Even now, 3 years and many repaired pages later, it's still one of her favs. I HIGHLY recommend this book. |
