| As a school counselor and then as a therapist, I use this book with all ages, 3-18 to teach the basics of friendship skills. It's simple, basic, practical and the most used friendship book I've owned.
One fun key, is to skip the last page on the first reading. Then have the kids change the story by changing the words, (i.e. how to make friends.) Then skip the 2nd to last page and go to the last page, which then changes the the end of the new story pictorially. Even ... Read More: |

| well, as the title of the book suggests, this is a book about good manners, being polite and what not.
My 2 year old girl likes it already, although I think it would be even better for older children, they could follow more easily the stories with their favourite characters from Richard Scarry (great drawings!!!). | This wasn't exactly what I expected. The chairs (I bought two, for twin boys) are just too small. They won't be able to use them very long. The overall construction is great but the size isn't. If your child is small for his/her age it's perfect. |

| I really liked this children's book. The illustrations were very peculiar and different, as was the organization of the book. The pages going from smaller to bigger in the middle and the words on the pages also changing in size, getting progressively larger is definitely a different touch. I especially liked how the shape of the whale's tail was a page in itself towards the end. There was also a clock on each page reinforcing the time mentioned and the concept of it. | We have 5-6 of the Berenstain Bears books that we mix into our bedtime reading library. This book, "Forget Their Manners," is especially handy for bedtime reading when I want to stimulate a discussion about a lapse of manners at the dinner table. By the time I finish reading, my children are openly talking about their recent bad manners and resolving to improve their behavior.
