| I highly recommend this CD. My bilingual daughter (Age 4) loves it, as do her monolingual English-speaking friends (ages 3-11). I will be using this in Spanish classes and will recommend it to parents as an additional resource. Each song/ game is in Spanish only (often with suggested actions or movements), providing an "immersion" experience. | This CD has great audio quality and great content. My girls like it just fine. I didn't give it 5 stars because I feel, as a native Chinese Madarin speaker, some of the musical arrangements are kind of weird. Also, some of the nursery rhymes that I grew up with are butchered (either incomplete or completely changed). But overall, it's a great first CD for the little ones to be exposed to the language. |

| This CD has been in heavy rotation since deciding to teach our toddler son French. He was five months old when purchased and we didn't begin to play it until he was six months old. I wish we hadn't waited! The songs are sung beautifully by both the male and female singers. In addition to the adult singers, there is also a child that sings songs.
The CD comes with the lyrics for each song in both French and English which I find to be extremely helpful. My favorite feature is the "Parentese." ... Read More: |

| During my Freshmen year, of Spanish I, my teacher didn't really teach us, thus almost everyone in my class would fail the etsts. Our school gave us a copy of this, and it helps SO MUCH! I go to a different school now, use a different book, it still helps! |

| I got this when my daughter was 2.5yrs and had a good start on spanish already. She liked it, but I hoped it would teach her more (and me too). It's really only good for car rides, not at home. It won't keep her attention at home. |

| This was purchased as a gift. The baby's older brother is enrolled in a Spanish speaking school, even though the parents are of Italian and Jewish heritage. I don't know if they have used the CD, but I suspect they will, and it should be fun for the baby's big brother to provide the opportunity to speak in Spanish as well. |

| I purchased this as gift, and frankly have had no feedback from the parents as of yet. However, I thought it was a fun gift to give...especially since the baby's grandfather was born in Italy and still speaks Italian. Toys are quickly outgrown, but if the CD is used, this will have a lasting impact. |

| The approach is well thought out and well organized with extensive guidance and tips to parents and teachers. The material is enthusiastic, energetic, and simple. The repetitions are presented in varying contexts so that the exercises do not become boring or laborious. It is an effective and enjoyable approach for children that also works well with adults. |

| The songs have catchy melodies so it's easy to learn them and join in. I like the fact that the delivery is fast, imitating native French speakers. Also a plus is that children's voices are used in the conversations which is more fun. Drawbacks are that the songs are imbedded in the middle of the instructional tracks on the CD. It would be better if they had their own designated tracks - because already my kids want to hear the songs but don't want to hear the narrator's explanation and translation. |
