I hope he get's his farm by the end of this, he deserves it.

I loved the book and the series. My parents have listened to the audio books since Eragon first came out so I thought I would give it a try. I have just finished reading all three books for the first time back to back and I knew it was not a trilogy. Paolini has terrific dialog between the characters and you really get attached to them. There is something interesting happening in every chapter. I have been completely hooked. ... Read More:

WOW! Words cannot describe the way I am feeling after just finishing the book a few days ago. I am still mesmerized with all the characters, more importantly with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit! I have been a Christian for the last 5 years and have been through several Bible courses and am considered as a mature Christian at the moment but this book just brought me into a new level to undertsand love and grace!
I truly believe that I was let to read this book by supernatural guidance of God through supernatural ... Read More:

A good friend of mine admitted to having read Twilight recently, although she said she didn't like the other books. I finally became curious enough to take a peek at this.

Twilight, to me, is just a teeny romance novel that young girls might like if they're too embarrassed to buy a harlequin. But even at that, there were a lot of things I was left wondering about in the book (such as, why is Edward in high school when he's a vampire? Why? I mean, wouldn't kids or their parents notice "those flawless people" ... Read More:

Warren Buffet is probably the most highly respected investor in the country and connects with ordinary people because of his understated, friendly demeanor. With his understanding of human behavior,a sense of timing, and philanthropic ambitions its interesting that such a conservative man has not noticed the growth in the unmarried adult population in America (100 million). This great book covers many facets of his life and work and unique thought process.I wonder what he would make of the newly listed "Single a documentary film" www.singlefilm.com. ... Fist off, I am a 41 year old male who has read all four books of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series. SURPRISE.

And despite me being a male and having to (La)push my way through the slower, sappy romantic moments between Bella and Edward, in total, ALL four novels were well written, creative and fun. The author has an acceptable balance between romance and action. I'm confident Hollywood will take each novel and further balance the equation and perfect the ratio between Edward once again taking Bella's chin and lifting her face up to his and the action ... The book was written well, but as other reviewers have stated this book is NOT for the middle aged man. This book seems more suited for teenage women. So I gave it a 4 star because the writing was hoever impressive.

This series is so addictive. I started reading on a recommendation by a friend. I thought it was cheesy-sounding but it's not immature at all. I loved this series and I'm now reading the 4th in the series, and I've read 238 pages in 2 days. I'm going to be so sad when it's over!

8.The Story of Edgar Sawtelle: A Novel (Oprah Book Club #62) by: David Wroblewski

Wroblewski is a fabulous writer, and there is much here to appreciate, but there are also a lot of problems. The ways the author made the story mirror Hamlet are often ham-fisted, and he's really at his best when he pulls away from that aspect of the story. The ending is forced, at best, and 200 pages could easily be shaved off without sacrificing the plot, the (underdeveloped) characters, or even the shading. There is a ton of talent on display here, but for me, this is a failure of a novel. A noble failure, but a failure nonetheless.

If you oppose conservation and clean energy, I wonder why you would. Typical concerns relate to when conservation and clean energy reduce economic growth or reduce profits for some special interest in the near term. Longer term, most people would agree that conservation and clean energy make sense.

Journalist and social activist Thomas L. Friedman could have written a much shorter book if he had simply started with the premise that it's a good idea to have conservation and clean energy. He spends most of the book providing arguments in favor of those approaches. ... Read More:
