| The Circle trilogy consists of the books Black, and Red, and White, and is followed up by Showdown, and House (co-authored by Frank Peretti), and Saint, and Skin. And a new book to be out either later this year or next year, titled Sinner. And the Lost Books consist of Chosen, and Infidel, and (coming out in May Renegade and Chaos.

| I would describe this book as a "easy, summer read." The characters were very simple,not alot of depth to them but I felt the details to descriptions ie. creatures, travels, forest was above the average in this book. |

| I'll keep this short and simple: This is the first (and probably last) Ted Dekker novel I've read. The book is horrible: the plot is ridiculous (and extremely implausible in the end), the characters are flat, and the narrative is amateurish...Anyone who gave this book 4 or 5 stars either didn't read the novel or will give 5 stars to a phone book. |

| This is another great book from Ted Dekker, but I strongly suggest reading the Circle Trilogy first, and then either the Lost Books series or Showndown (interchangeable second and third), then this book. I'm sure you can figure it out without doing that, but it will make MUCH more sense if you have read those already, especially Showdown. |

| I have tried to read a few of Mr. Perettis books and just don't get them. His books go directly against Phillipians which tells us to think on those things which are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy. I couldn't get past the second chapter, it repulsed me. If you are a Christian, don't waste your money or time. Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind! |
