| this book is very good for beginners or those with a little bit of background. I had 2 years of Spanish in High School and 2 years in college. If you're looking into writing and reading the language this is very good. But if you want to speak or understand Spanish in normal conversation speed i suggest you get it in AUDIO format, watch telenovelas and listen to spanish lyrics. Anything to familiarize yourself with the tone.

The answer is yes, it's a Hackett good value, and needs to be available for serious students and scholars. Any good library has Axtell where the introduction can be read or copied. |
