| I have always loved Roald Dahl's amazing stories, and this one was just as good as his others. I love the typical Dahlian nonsensical words that aren't fully nonsensical (my favorites being `babblement' and `catasterous disastrophe'). The book is written in a very child-friendly way, but can be enjoyed by all ages. Another particular part I liked was the theory about age, that humans are technically only half their given age, since half of our lives are pretty much slept away. It makes perfect sense to me! ... | I started reading this book to my 5 year old daughter a few days ago and we are both in love. It is funny, thrilling and joyful. The use of language is arrful and clever. I have never, so enjoyed a children's book. I'm either a big child, or this is more than a mere child's play. |

| Another spooky tale, but with more spook, this book is the story of a little boy who discovers the nefarious plan of a group of witches to finally rid the world of children once and for all. It might be a little much for younger children, but older ones will likely enjoy the creepy undertone.

| My 5- and 7-year-old boys LOVED this story! Lots of great mischief. I never knew Roald Dahl beyond "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," and "James and the Giant Peach." "The Twits" is great for younger audiences. I can't wait to get more of his books. |

| I remembered loving this book from my childhood and was happy to read it to my 5.5 year old girl. She enjoyed the whole story, from beginning to end, though she was a bit spooked in places. James' aunts are quite nasty, and the cloud people are very frightening. Dahl is from an older England--a place that could be mean and cruel to children. And so, Dahl's worlds are not always the happiest of places. This only means that the book might be best suited to children from age 7 or 8 on up.

| I usually save long reviews for products that caused problems. So this one's short and sweet. This BOOK is Fantastic. It's short, and a dahl classic. Plus, I believe they're turning it into a movie starring Clooney, Murray, and Blanchet. |

| I have read Matilda, The Witches, The Twits, and more of Roald Dahl's wonderful books to children of all ages, all economic levels, and from all over the world. Dahl has an amazing ability to captivate any audience. He also allows children to view Norwegian and British cultures.
