| The map was just as the description listed however it is shipped in a cheap cardboard poster box and arrived crushed making it unusable for my intended use. It has been relegated to the corner by my desk and will most likely become a donation or garage sale item. Luckily it wasn't too expensive. |

| This map hangs proudly in my office, and it is everything a good map should be: sharply detailed, accurate proportions to each continent, and a color scheme that makes differentiating between details intuitive. I personally really enjoy the aesthetics of this map and its 'aged' coloration. I framed it in a dark walnut frame that coordinates with the map very well. If you want a quality wall map with more muted colors, this is an excellent choice!

| When I was a kid, I loved every time that my family bought a new Rand McNally Road Atlas. As soon as I could, I would sit down with the atlas and trace rides across country, from state to state. Or I would look for strangely named communities or. . . . I would spend an hour or so at a time just going through those glorious maps.
More recently, this is my annual Christmas gift to my son (wonder if love of atlases has a genetic basis?). But I still will grab his copy when he's not around and go ... Read More: |

| This is just what I needed for a course I'm teaching. Lots of information in a compact form. Sometimes too compact, I need a magnifying glass for some maps, but it does the job. |

| I purchaesed this map so that my son could use it to mark all the places that he has received post cards from. Great detail and size, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that it is not laminated. |

| This is a good buy for young children. I was impressed with the variety. But many 8 year olds will find it too simple. For kids getting tired of coloring books, you might want to look into a Klutz book or something more exciting. |

However, the box that AMZN shipped the rolled up map in broke in half while in UPS's possession, crumpling up the rolled up map completely. In true form to AMZN's great service, a replacement was sent along as a return postage for the damaged map. Unfortunately, the replacement was sent in the same exact type of packaging and broke in UPS's possession again! | Excellent packaging. Detail is pretty simple, and no boundaries are illustrated for the States, Russia, etc. It's very basic, but good for a quick glance. |

| I was looking to replace my Rand McNally International Atlas which is 40 years old. The old atlas has 278 pages of detailed maps of the world. This atlas has only general maps that aren't really of much use. I'd love to replace my old atlas if I can find a new one with detailed maps. |
