| My 14-month old son runs to the bookshelf, grabs this book, and thrusts it in our direction to read to him over and over again - he just can't get enough of it! My husband and I have each read it to him dozens of times and happily we aren't bored of it either; the illustrations are excellent, and the story is creative and funny. I highly recommend this book. |

| A positively adorable book, from its hilarious and sweet story to the bright illustrations. Great for read-alouds, as kids instantly like the somewhat stuffy police officer and his whimsical dog. Excellent message. |

| This book about runaway babies is captivatingly drawn. I love the uniqueness of the silhouette presentation; the contrast of black against soft color draws the reader to the next page to puzzle out the action before the text explains. The book shows to our young ones how shape and outline are important in identifying everyday objects and people, requiring an analytical eye to determine what we see. The text is a sweet, easy pleasure to read out loud.

| This is an excellent book for kids - especially those just starting to get into books. There is minimal language, but definitely a story and an exciting picture on every page. There are 10 hamsters, each with their own 'persona' and an ant that you can hunt for (like the mouse in Goodnight Moon) - kids love the search and find aspect and they are excited with each turn of the page.
