| I've heard for several years the absolute wonder of this book. And finally I get around to reading it. What a joy to do that! This book is thoroughly adorable, packing heart I did not quite expect as well as an incredible blend of illustration and photograph. While I warn that certain ages of children may not be as impressed with it as others will, it's a wonderful book for whomever will listen. |

| I came across this book when my wife found it on the shelf in a local bookshop.
She read it and encouraged our son to stop dancing around the bookstands and concentrate and read it. Although he prefers video games he loved it. When I met up with them, he was so enthusiastic that he persuaded me to read it. My daughter then loved it when she had stopped looking at 'her favourite books' in the store. | My 2.5 year old daughter received this book as a gift and we have never read the first one. The story is wonderful, funny and cute and the illustrations are a very creative mix with real photography. My daughter has this book memorized now and reads it to me which is priceless. I'm getting her the first one for her 3rd birthday and I'm sure it will be a great addition to our home library. |

| Mo Williems catches all the excuses kids can think of to avoid sleep. My 3 year old daughters typical excuses are 'I need a glass of water', 'I'm not sleepy at ALL' rubbing her eyes, even 'I have to clean the house'(taking a hint from my wife who has a habit of cleaning while I put the kids to bed.)
This book is hilarious because you can totally relate. I love how with each turning of the page, the background gets darker and darker. I love his Pigeon series but I have to say that this is my favorite. |

| This is one of those books that tells a story with just the pictures. If you have a small child, you are 'explaining' the pictures and adding these words in that is all dialog. At 8pm, I don't want to make up a story around a book. I want to read a book to my kid.
Although the illustrations are cute, I still wish there was more narrative. |

| My 3.5yo daughter absolutely loves this book. She will recite a line from it to me and we'll go back and forth "playing out" the story. I just mention "there's a bird on your head!" and she will fall into fits of giggles.
My 2yo son was not as interested (though if it doesn't have construction trucks or diggers, etc, he's not interested either). I think as he gets older he will appreciate the humor and story. Cute story & I bought more based on the success of this one. I recommend to my friends ... Read More: |
