| "The Return of the Indian" is a very good book, and probably a better one than "The Indian in the Cupboard". The story is about a boy(Omri) who finds a locked cupboard in a garbage can in the streets of London. When his mother gives him a key that fits no lock in his house, he tries the key on the cupboard it opens! | This has been a favorite book of mine for I don't know how many years. I read it at as a very young child and was immediately swept up in the incredible fantasy that gives a nod to traditional fairy mythology while blending in Ms. Banks' own imagination. The result is an incredible story that can be enjoyed by both adults and kids--being that one of the main characters is an adult.

| This is an amazing novel! I don't even know how to describe my new profound love for this book. And it closely resembles the movie Two Brothers, a movie also about two tiger cubs that get put into captivity. This is a novel that speaks about determination, conviction and love. This novel strongly goes against the acts of the Roman Collosieum which is our modern day death penalty or any acts of violence in the world which urges readers onward.
