| Book contains all four verses of Away in the Manger Christmas Carol. I would read the book, then sing the song to my 4 year old as we looked at the pictures. He learned all 4 verses of "Away in the Manger". Illustrations correlate to lines in the song which gave a deeper understanding of the words to not only my son, but to me. The words are the orginal carol. Excellent book! Although listed for babies, this book is an excellent method of teaching the song to a 3-7 year old. |

| This brightly illustrated book does a wonderful job explaining different Christmas symbols: lights, Christmas trees, angels, and presents; in light of the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus' birth. My 3-year-old son loves this book and asks for it more than he does the Santa Claus books. This book has helped me to have conversations with my children about Jesus as we enjoy all of our Christmas traditions. I highly recommend it! | I picked up this book a few weeks ago while Christmas shopping. I've been very choosey lately about religous books for my 1 1/2yr old, because so many have content she isn't ready to grasp in them. This book was such a great find! It relates to the ABC's, has adorable illustrations, and touches on just the basics of the Christmas story. Each line of this book flows nicely, the rhyming isn't clumsy, and it's short enough to keep her attention. It's a daily read for us right now. It's worth searching out. |
