| My two year old son asks me to read this book several times a day. It is such a wonderful celebration of seasons and the loving bond between parent and child. It is pure poetry. The illustrations are beautiful and unique. |

| The storyline in this book is wonderful. I like it because it shows the importance of 'having fun' and 'believing in yourself' and most of all 'sharing what you have'. My children, ages 2 and 4, love this book! It is one I have to read almost every night. My four year old has memorized the entire book and can 'read' it to her brother. The illustrations are also beautiful. The children come from so many different cultural backgrounds - but it is not a part of the plot, only something for the readers ... Read More: |

| This story offers a wonderful way to teach children about the risks of passing judgments. A group of farm animals excludes a poor skunk until a good downpour and the lure of a warm, dry feather bed forces them to rethink their skunk stereotype. In the end, they realize they can all be friends. My 3-year-old daughter loves the rhyme (and a chance to yell, "skunk!"). The hilarious illustrations are fun as well. |

| This book is an extremely fun way to introduce how music can touch us all. The words and format are conducive to getting up and dancing right along with the characters in the book. I read this story to a group of pre-schoolers and they had a wonderful time making the instumental noises and dancing a jig. It was great fun! |
