| Excellent book to help young children learning basic addition skills. We started this book when my son was 4 years, 8 months. The going was slow for a while, but now we are more than halfway through the book, and I no longer have to guide him on every step. Prior to this book, he had not spent a lot of time learning to write his numbers (this was his first numbers workbook), and now he can write his number 1-29 without help.

| My son loves doing these colorful pasting exercises. They are really basic though, and I would think a 5 or 6 year old (recommended ages 4-6) would find them boring.
Wish it were a bit bigger with more pages - he'll do about 8 of them at a time - for the price I'm not sure I'd purchase again, though with the 3 for 4 books deal, its worth it. |

| I was excited to see this workbook from Kumon, since my daughter (4 yrs old) has liked some of them in the past. Unfortunately, she has not been interested in doing any of these crafts. I think it's because she likes to think of the craft herself, and then follow through with her idea. She doesn't like crafts when there isn't a whole lot of creative thought needed.
