| I bought this book so my children could learn about other religions. I recently took a college Religions of the World class and I used this book throughout my class. It simplified complex religions and made them easier for me to understand. The internet links are great. There were many wonderful sites that make it fun to learn. I will definately buy more books from this series for my children. |

| This is an absolutely wonderful book to have around. Purchased from suesbooks.info It's like anything else. If you don't use math all the time, this will help you to get caught up to help your children. It explains it in a very easy simple way. It's a book that will be used in the middle schools often. For a math book, there are great illustrations. |

| This is a birthday gift for my eleven year old son who recently got a digital microscope. He loves it, as does his seven year old brother. Great photographs. | I have found some factual errors in this book, but overall it is a thorough science book for physics, chemistry, and biology. This book is an unabridged compilation of the three books in the illustrated dictionary series--Illustrated Dictionary of Physics, Illustrated Dictionary of Chemistry, and Illustrated Dictionary of Biology. | It's great to have the use of the internet, but having an actual book in front of you to hold and read and flip through the pages is so much more appealing to me. This is a great starter encyclopedia for children to have from age 7 and up. It's great for homeschoolers also. Amazon does sell the "Usborne Illustrated Dictionary of Science" which is the American version of all three books in the series--Illustrated Dictionary of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. It is also much, much cheaper at less than $19 and free shipping if you order more than $25 of books.
