| I found this book to be extremely informative while explaining how forces make things move in a way my 3 year old granddaughter understands while learning myself!!
The pictures are awsome, and keeps any age children's attention. All of the books in the Lets-Read-and-Find-Out Science series have been a valuable tool in teaching and entertaining in my home. |

| Summary: This book is about 10 year old Ethel Roosevelt's early experience being president Theodore Roosevelt's daughter. It describes Ethel's family moving from Long Island to Washington D.C. Ethel has to go to the National Cathedral boarding school during the week, but she's relieved to go home to the White house on the weekends. She roller skates and bikes in the White House and rides her horse Wyoming outside in the gardens. She experiences many adventures other than those too.

| This novel is a historical set France starting in 1788. Details of the time period are skillfully woven into the story, and the problems Isabelle faces comes from the problems of the period. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historicals and is interested in the period.
The pacing is very good, and the characters were engaging and interesting. There was no romance (so no sex or kissing), and I don't recall any cussing. I'd recommend this as "a good, clean fun" novel. Genre ... Read More: |

| For Freedom was a great book. It is set in France during World War II. At the beginning of the book, Suzanne is thirteen years old, but towards the end she is much older. She is a good singer even though she is young, and even though the Germans force them to move out of their home, they find somewhere to live and Suzanne begins singing in operas. | "A Book about Bubbles" is an excellent science story. It explains how bubbles are made, why they are round and what causes them to pop. It's written clearly and crisply. It explains concepts (e.g., stickiness, roundness) well and in a way that young children can easily grasp. Yet it is fun and inspires curiosity. | The book is great and having be dedicated to me is even better. As a young reader I this was one story I loved to read and I would read over and over again. Hallie and Mallie are great characters and the way the author (my sister) gives their way of life or their backround is amazing!! If you love good historical books than you'll love this!!!
