| This book is great. It tells you basic needs for survival like how to find water, make shelter and purify water. It is just a great book. If you frequently travel to different places like jungles or forests and you want to know how to survive in the wild if you get lost, this is a good book to get. |

| Well, I better start off this review by stating that I was fortunate enough to have been able to read through this book without having to purchase it first, and I am very glad about that. Not that this is a horrible book by any means, but it really didn't live up to its title and actually you could make the case for blatant misrepresentation.

| This book is an extensive source of material for tracking humans (and animals), but also covers material on all facets of tracking and related skills (stalking, observation and navigation skills). This book has its flaws in the 1st and 2nd editions; some that would make animal tracking experts and Tom Brown "Brownies" cringe; for example mistakes and statements made by Carss about determining the sex of deer. | This book was the first military fitness program that I followed. The results were amazing, in 8 weeks I went from 245lbs down to 205lbs and never looked back. I am now addicted to military fitness programs (books) and swear by them. This book is one of the best and so are the SAS. The program is well rounded with running, swimming, and weight training/calisthenics. There is even a section on self defense which is very handy.
