| Wonderful explanations of what anger is, how to recognize the feelings, how to express the feeling in a healthier way and how to problem solve. My daughter loved the examples of dialogue as they were accurate samples of what she deals with on a daily basis with her peers at school. I appreciated the fact that we could pick it up and read any chapter without reading the entire book. My daughter has also benefited by reading a book called Angry Octopus: A Relaxation Story. | My daughter is 2 years old and had a problem with biting other children while at daycare. We tried "reasoning" with her - but it didn't seem to help. So, we decided to try buying a book hoping that perhaps it might help the situation. She loves this book. Surprisingly, after reading the book to her, she has not had any reported problems of biting anymore. Coincidence? Perhaps. Perhaps not. This book sure is worth trying it for yourself. |

| My five year old loved the pictures in this book. The illustrations are great and it is easy for a toddler to follow and understand. |

| I used this little book with my four grandkids ages 11, 10, 9 and 8. They enjoyed it and even used some of the practices in front of me! It is written in kid style, but pulls no punches. Just what this grandmother was looking for. |

| I think this was a wonderful book. It's simple to understand that pacifiers are not forever, and there comes a time when one grows bigger and it's time to stop using them. I think this books gets the message across really well, giving a lot of positive compliments to a child when they are ready to try and reach that point that they are now "bigger" and "it's time". | This is a book a child can read, and will gain comfort that he/she isn't alone in being bullied. I don't feel it fully addresses bullying or gives practical step - by - step advice. It doesn't provide several - step senarios. As in, if you've tried our advice and it didn't work, go on to do this next, if that doesn't work, do this next. I was hoping for a book that would address the issue comprehensively. |

| I bought this book for my two year old son. We have a dog, and he started getting rough with her. He LOVES this book!!!! He always goes and gets it and wants us to read it to him. He loves the page with the animal sounds, and he learned to do them all. He has not hit the dog recently, but still tries to sit on her. But overall, I think this is an excellent choice, and very cute book! |
