| I bought this for my two year olds birthday. She loves it. She loves Abby Cadabby and all of the Sesame Street friends, so it was a hit. This book is sturdy and withstands a two year old and her 4 year old brother. |

| There is a lot going on in the pictures. I think it's a bit confusing to my grandson, He's 20 months. He likes the pictures, but I don't think he gets what the story is trying to say (happy, grumpy, etc)because it's just too busy. Still, the pictures are colorful and there is just enough text without being too much and boring. There's lots of stuff to point to while I'm reading. Maybe as he gets older he will apreciate what the story is trying to show, but for now, it's just a nice time for him to ... Read More: |

| As a female aircraft mechanic myself (swing shift I might add), I found a lot of pleasure in this book. The Rosie the Riveters, in my opinion, are the the most brave, courageous women of that time. They literally paved the way for the rest of us and this book tells of that experience in a wonderfully humorous way. I laughed out loud and read some of it to my friends. | Cookie Monster is going to have a party and he takes us through all you must do to get ready and have a party. The book teaches children all the polite things one does before and during a party.
My favorite page is the page where he sets the table and the picture illustrates the correct way to set a place setting. | This is a great little board book with thirteen familiar Mother Goose rhymes modified to accomodate the Sesame Street characters. (For example, "Prairie Had A Little Lamb.") My favorite is: Little Bo-Peep was counting sheep But forgot what comes after ten. The Count cried, "It's clear! Eleven, my dear! And now let us count them again!" Wonderful illustrations -- very colorful! Sure to be a favorite with the lucky little one who receives it. |
