| The book "Thomas and the missing Christmas tree" is about Thomas the Tank Engine he is told to go find a Christmas tree for the train station Thomas goes to find one and it turns into a big disaster. I think the lesson that this book is trying to teach is how to be responsible and how to help out. This book would probably be best for children ages 4 and up because young kids would love the story and they would love the trains in the story. | My son is 3 and a half, and I wanted to start teaching him how to read the clock. He is a big Thomas fan, so this was a perfect book to introduce him to telling the time. My son loves this book, and in the short time I have had it - he already looks at the clock on the wall and will say Mommy it's 7:00 o'clock !!!! He even enjoys the story, and illustrations. |

He thinks it was a dragon. Thomas goes out. He tells Percy. He goes back to the forest. He doesn't know until the driver said it was a dinosaur model for the new dinosaur park. | I cannot say enough about how wonderful this book has been for us. I am very disappointed it is out of print. My son wanted to read (and read and read and read) this book every day from the day he received it on his 2nd birthday and every day after that. Within a month, he knew how to recognize every number. | My older son is a huge Thomas fan, and had me read him "Thomas the Tank Engine's Big Blue Treasury" every night for weeks when I bought it. My second son (2 years old) also now adores this book and never tires of the story. Unlike some of the "classic" stories, these are very pleasant and great for small children, as well as for early readers.
