| I truly recommend this book to anyone who wants to walk in a manner worth of the Lord.
I tend to be very hard on myself in my walk with God. This book helps me to put my walk with God in a proper perspective. I plan on reading this book once a year to remind myself of the principles that Mr. Lewis has taught me. |

| I don't know how well this great book translates to agnostic readers, but for me it was a very enlightening and concrete way to understand what it means to try to be a good man in a world of temptation.
In keeping with the time period, I believe it was Winston Churchill who said "All evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing". | CS Lewis great theologian or great Christian apologist as some would say was one heck of a writer.
The Great Divorce C.S Lewis good as a stand alone story or as a more deeper spiritual book. | I went into this book not knowing what to expect; I'd never even heard of it before. The first time I read it, it blew my mind. The second time, it struck me in different ways, all just as powerful and intriguing. I can safely say that this is one of my favorite books of all time.

| This book obviously already has plenty of praising views, but I read this book and found it so great that I can't live with myself if I don't write a review. Coming from a kid who grieved a traumatic death, this book *IS* the book to buy if you're grieving, want to understand death, or want to find a book to help out a confused friend (no matter what age) who's grieving. It's worth the price. |

| C. S. Lewis is not only one of the 20th century's finest minds, he's also amazingly perceptive of human behavior. This well-written description explains so clearly the four kinds of love and with such accessible illustrations from real life. Most eye-opening for me was the chapter on "affection" where I began to understand for the first time why we moms think we are so misunderstood; in actuality, our "affection" (storge) for our family has gotten out of hand! You'll need to read in order to understand. I highly recommend this book. |
