| My daughter entered Kindergarten this year and was not thrilled about having to practice letters and read at home, however, these books got her excited about reading! She knows that at the beginning of each book are the sounds she will be reading throughout the entire book. The simplicity of 'Mat Sat' and other simple sentences seems to really help her feel a sense of accomplishment. I love watching her smile after she finishes each book!

| I give this only three stars, but not because there's anything wrong with it. It's just that, if your child is really ready to read, the first set will definitely give them the tools to do so. But once they grasp the "key to castle" of sounding out that that first set delivers, they may be ready for a bigger leap than this second set offers.

| I love these Bob books. I bought sets 1-5. My boys are still on the first box and they are cruising right through. Kindergarten and first grade. It is GREAT to find a set that introduces new word families and then reinforces them. You won't be disappointed. The drawings are so simple but my kids really do relate. |

| I purchased the set of books for my grandchildren 3 of them turned 5 this year and will start school in September. They all love them and fell so proud of themselves because they can read a whole book. |

| I bought this because he is going to begin Kindergarten and I was told that the "BOB Books" are what will be used in his school. He read the first story and was SO excited that he could do it. This is wonderful... can't wait until he visits again and gets to try more of the stories. |
