| At first glance, this book appears to be simply an illustration of a kids song. Some reviewers have complained that that's all there is..so why buy it. But actually, there is a lot more there if you look.

| My almost 2 year old and I just love this book. We make up our own story to it (it doesn't have any words), and it changes a little bit here and there. But I like that because I can point out different aspects of the situation to her. I like that it shows the mom breast feeding and dad helping out since that is similar to our situation. She loves it and I have seen her mimic it (holding the baby, helping get diapers/wipes, etc.) with her brand new baby cousin - without being taught or asked! She just saw ... Read More: |

| I have read, excuse me, I have sung this book well over 200 times to my daughter in the last few months. It is a favorite of ours, and I was tickled by the additional verses it had in the book.
Her favorite part is the "crocodile scream" and the "lion roar", she loves to make the animal noises along with the song. This is a great book for young children. | My two-year-old daughter likes it a lot. When we first got it, I sang it for her. Later, I would stop singing after "Mommy calls the doctor and the doctor says". Then, my daughter would finish it by singing "No more monkeys jumping on the bed" in the tone that the annoyed doctor would have done. And we all laugh together. |

| I bought this board book for my niece's 2nd birthday. She is neither deaf nor hard of hearing, however, she does have a slight delay in terms of verbal communication. My brother and sister-in-law have taught her a few signs, which she uses with enthusiasm. When I saw this book, I was excited because I thought it would expand on what she already knows and help her as she develops her communication skills.

| While the pictures are cute, the signs are not well presented. Hand positions are not correct for most of the signs. As someone who works with children with special needs and uses signs all the time, I purchased this book to be a fun addition to my sutdents' library. Once I received the book and saw how few signs were included and how poor the signs were, I would neither use it with children or recommend it to parents |
