This is replacement filter for Pur water pitchers. Earlier I bought these at 3 for $9.99 at Amazon, now its more that $20 for 3. However, still cheaper than even Walmart.

I replaced my Brita water pitcher with a Pur water pitcher.
These filters are much better. Fit tightly in pitcher and I can see particles from an old faucet that the Brita filters let through. Water tastes like spring water and l like knowing that it filters more out of the water than the Brita ones. And there's no charcoal in the refill reservoir.
Highly recommend!

After spending an hour online searching for the product, I came to the conclusion this was the best price from an honest source. Received the product a couple of days later and much sooner than they promised. I like when someone beats their promise.

The original pur stage 2 filter was easier to use. It had a slide that indicated when it was time to change filters. The new style does not have an indicater. In addition the new style filter clogs up and the water does not flow through them. I have just replaced the second of the three filters I ordered because of the constant blockage. I wil be looking for another system in the very near future and will not order any Pur products in the future.

When I got these we wondered what was up with the missing indicator on top. I did some research and discovered it was a new design. I definitely liked the older one better because it showed usage based on flow through the filter. With this one you just end up guessing how much water you have run through it. Also these filters keep leaking their guts into the pitcher. I never had that happen with the old ones. It looks like salt and pepper all over the bottom of the pitcher. You have to be careful pouring so you don't get it into your glass. If the filters guts are leaking out into the pitcher what else is getting into the water? Once this pack is gone I will seek out another filtering solution. It is a shame because the old design was nice. I wrote P&G and they don't seem to care.
