Alli is a good product in that it helps in digesting foods with too much fat in them.... or rather passing them through your system. However, having taken Xenical in the past, Alli is not as strong and is a bit more pricey. Because it is a weaker substance, it is probably safe for anyone to take. No matter what medication a person takes to aid in weight loss, exercise and diet are still a must. There is no magic cure for overeating. Xenical was prescribed by my physician and I did use it for some time. Since moving across country, I have not taken it any more. I do sometimes need a boost to help in losing weight. However, I probably will not purchase Alli again because of the cost.

Not a cure all, but does teach you to watch what you eat. If used properly, the weight definitely does come off. Don't expect to eat everything you did before and have miracles, you still need to, not count the calories, but watch the fat you consume. It is amazing how you rethink what you eat, I think it is a good thing, especially when adding a regular exercise program, which could include just a brisk walk after dinner.

Read the information provided, use it as they recommend & it definitely works! I've lost over 50 lbs in 6 months, using this as a way to keep enjoying the foods I like, along with a robust workout schedule. Just don't overdue it with the high fat meals when you take this or you'll be sorry when you have to explain your "Alli-Oops"...

I had a bad side effect. I started passing blood in my stool for some reason. I do know that this is what caused it since 24hrs after I stopped, so did the blood.
But I do give this a product a 3 star, since it obviously did what its supposed to (stopping your body from absorbing fats).
