I read a review in Cooks Illustrated and purchased this knife. I have to say its my favorite knife. I love it. I am going to purchase two more for Christmas presents to some good cooks that I know. Its a great size, easy to hold, keeps sharp for a long time. A good steel brings back the edge.

I have really enjoyed using this knife, and i have used it almost everyday since i got it. The blade is quite sharp, and it makes cooking much easier and more fun (previously i had been using the Miracle pro 3 blades which were bought off of an infomercial). The handle seems very well constructed, and is easy to grip as well.
The only thing that i might have considered more would be the size of the knife. Unless you have a fairly large cutting board, this knife is a lot to handle. I have found that you should be able to place a knife on the cutting board diagonally, and if it can't touch either corner, than you are good.
A really great knife for a great price.

I have this chef's knife and the Forschner 10-inch bread knife and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them!! I cannot afford Wustoffs and based on the recommendations of Cooks Illustrated I purchased this knife. The handle has a good grip and the blade cuts like butter. I haven't had any problems with my knives at all and they've lived up to every task I've put before them.
