I bought this for my two year old. Great on many levels...good value for money, can't open by themselves, good tones, durable. Also bought the drum with it. The compay was very prompt.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas, she loves it, in fact the whole family loves it all the down to our toddler. It's the best $9.99 investment we ever spent.

I bought these months ago with high hopes based on the reviews here. My two year old twins opened them this morning under the Christmas tree -- and I think if they received nothing else this Christmas they still would have considered it a great holiday. Fun for kids of all ages! (including grandpa here) Beautiful tones, great resonance, nice bells. I came online tonight to order four more for some nieces and nephews. Everyone needs these. Unfortunately, I bought them at $9.99 and now they are $14.99 but it's still a great deal. Wonderful product!

Our granddaughter loves striking notes on this, and she is only 1 year old. Everyone comments on the lovely sound, and I like the fact that the notes are layed out like a piano keyboard.
Rating: - Great Musical "Toy" for toddlers!
I say toy, because as the other reviewers noted - it isn't a toy but a professional instrument. I bought this for my 18 month nephew, and it was his favorite present...along with the maracas and slighbell wristbands I got him. I am surprised I was let back in their house. But the unit was shipped quickly, and packs up easily, sliding into a bookcase. It also is durable and will take a kid's banging. The tones are absolutely beautiful and clear, and it is 9.99...what else you could you want??? I would recommed getting more that one, because I have bought it 3x since giving it to him, for other gifts.
