Books : Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (Diary of a Wimpy Kid)

- My 11 year old LOVED it!
My son is 11 years old & really does not like to read for pleasure. He'll read exactly the bare minimum for school work & it's a super chore to get him to read in the summer. He devoured this book in just one afternoon. Plus, he has re-read the book a number of times. I highly reccomend it!

Our whole family loved the first Wimpy Kid Book so picking this one up was a no brainer. Rodrick Rules just didn't have as many laughs as the first volume. My son still tore through it, but he hasn't re-read it several times as he did Wimpy Kid 1. Not terrible, but not laugh out loud funny either.

I just happen to pick up this book for my son in the book store. After reading the first one in 2 days. He decided that he wanted the 2nd book and I ordered it from Amazon at a cheaper price. He is now waiting for the 3rd book. I am impressed with how much he is reading with chapter books.

Purchased book 1 and 2 for my sons (8 and 12) to take on a trip for reading material. They LOVED these books! Read them each twice - and giggled doing it.

My 9yr old son, has not found much that he likes to read, until he found these two books. He read them both in 24 hours, as he could not put them down. Now, he just wishes the author would hurry and write more.
