| I have a small bermuda lawn in Arizona, about 900 square ft, so I thought a cheap reel mower would be the best choice. I couldn't have been more wrong. When this mower didn't skip over the top of my lawn, cutting nothing, it would bog down with the blades locking up on the thick bermuda grass. The problem seems to be both the light weight of the mower not letting it push down into thick grass, and the roller bar on the back of the mower.
