I was very disappointed with the purchase of my first Brian McKnight CD. He attempts to sing the Nat King Cole classic, The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire)and it is just awful. The rest of the tunes range from good to adequate. During the holidays, I would fast forward to the second song because I could not bear to him try to sing this classic song in a "supposed" upbeat tempo. Nat King Cole set the standard ... My favorite song on the album is Angels We Have Heard on High: with Josh Groban. It seems like everytime he goes into the studio he goes in as himself, and he always leaves his fans wondering, "What Next!" Rating:  - Joy to the worldWhat more can be said? Brian could sing the ABC's and it would sound great. I am sure the ladies, single or married, will be under the mistletoe this Christmas with Brian in the background.
