 Rating:  - Cute though somewhat awkwardThis book is pretty darn cute, great for my daughter's age range (2-3), but the thing that moves Elmo up and down is stiff and hard to move... and makes him laugh both on the way out and on the way in. This not only makes it awkward to handle but also takes away from the pop-up surprise laugh. The little pull lever that makes Elmo giggle seems to work backwards and it just doesn't work that well anyway. And it is SUCH a short book. There are a lot of cuter Elmo's out there. The whole point of the book is Elmo pops up to giggle. I even replaced the batteries for fear they were just all out of juice. They weren't.
