The base isn't very wide so it occasionally tips over. Has a bell attached, so I hide the toy at night so I can sleep. Mine has a blue ball on top. Other toys he takes to right away, especially those that move. Quite frankly, our dog has more interest in this toy than our cat. Perhaps this toy would be more suited for cats with a more gregarious personality than ours but based on our experiences, interactive snake toys with more of a range of movement interest him more.
