However, I had intended to use it to transport my Golden Retriever across country via air and United Airlines informed me when I checked in that it was not a proper crate. I had to buy one of theirs with bolt closures on the spot. It was lucky I was very early and they had a crate to sell me or I might have missed my flight. So beware.
