I am very thankful that I tried this one out in the field before deploying overseas. I have returned the original and the replacement BRUNTON sent to me directly. I bought it because I wanted a lighter that had a waterproof cap. I went ahead and ordered this one. I expected the cap to be metal but as other reviewers commented, the cap is plastic. Its pretty sturdy though. The lighter is refillable and has a window in the bottom where you can see if its full with fuel or needs a refil. It is extremely windproof being that the wind has never blown it out once and i use it to light my cigars all the time. I have been using it for about a month now it still works great. The only negative is that it uses up a lot of butane fuel having such a strong flame and all. Otherwise well worth the money! |
