 Rating:  - Welcome to Our TownMy son LOVES this book...we look at it every night--EVERYNIGHT...This has gone on for months now...it is the first thing he goes for in his toybox...He is only one and he points to the dog, frog, cows when I ask him to find them. This book has really helped with his vocab skills. It is not a flap book, but it is great anyway! Rating:  - "Dat na effant! Dat a car!"(Actual quote from an actual two-year-old.) As a general rule, I don't like branded merchandise. I make a (slight) concession over this book because my little niece adored it for a few weeks after she turned two (it was a birthday gift). This book has a heck of a lot of labeled pictures, more than enough to increase *any* toddler's vocabulary. For more "fun", have them point to the pictures. Periodically, instead of you telling them the right word, say "elephant". ... Read More: Rating: - No FlapsI bought this because my daughter loves the Little People series of Flap books. Her best friend loves them too so I bought each girl one and was so disapointed when they arrived in the mail the other day. There are no flaps, yet they call it a "flap" book? There are little cut outs, but nothing interactive like the other ones. The other two I ordered have flaps, but unfortunately the only one I got 2 of doesnt have the flaps. |
