Editorial Review:

Product Description:
BRISINGR EXCLUSIVE: The audio edition of Brisingr features a revealing Q & A between best-selling author Christopher Paolini and editor Michelle Frey.

OATHS SWORN . . . loyalties tested . . . forces collide.

Following the colossal battle against the Empire’s warriors on the Burning Plains, Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have narrowly escaped with their lives. Still there is more at hand for the Rider and his dragon, as Eragon finds himself bound by a tangle of promises he may not be able to keep.

First is Eragon’s oath to his cousin Roran: to help rescue Roran’s beloved, Katrina, from King Galbatorix’s clutches. But Eragon owes his loyalty to others, too. The Varden are in desperate need of his talents and strength—as are the elves and dwarves. When unrest claims the rebels and danger strikes from every corner, Eragon must make choices— choices that take him across the Empire and beyond, choices that may lead to unimagined sacrifice.

Eragon is the greatest hope to rid the land of tyranny. Can this once-simple farm boy unite the rebel forces and defeat the king?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Christopher Paolini newest book a smash hit.
Christopher Paolini does it again in his newest book Brisingr. Staying true to his characters from past books Christopher takes you back into the wonderful world of dragoons and magic giving you great twists and unexpected turns. Making Brisingr one of the best new books of the year. I would highly recommend this series to all readers of all ages looking for a fun escape.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Roran just wants to farm!
I hope he get's his farm by the end of this, he deserves it.

I loved the book and the series. My parents have listened to the audio books since Eragon first came out so I thought I would give it a try. I have just finished reading all three books for the first time back to back and I knew it was not a trilogy. Paolini has terrific dialog between the characters and you really get attached to them. There is something interesting happening in every chapter. I have been completely hooked. ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Paolini doesn't disappoint
Brisingr is just as good as the other 2 books in the trilogy and maybe a little better. Eragon has become a man and it is exciting to see what will happen to him next. A definite must for any fantasy reader.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - dissapointing
I was looking forward to reading this third book that was supposed to end the trilogy. Figured it isn't, but I am still disappointed that the story line was very slow paced and even boring at times. I don't really need Roran's stories every other chapter, and the story's getting real predictable. Book 2 was much more better

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Book !!! (LOTR Fans / Fantasy Adventure Fans)
Ok, I just finished Brisingr and I loved it. I thought that the book was very interesting and immersed me into the fictional world. I usually dislike when the story diverts from the main characters (Saphira and Eregon), but I was just as captivated by the story between Roran, Saphira, the elves the dwarves and the razac. I loved the battles, the characters and most everything about this book. Because this book is also the second to last in the series Paolini had to bridge what will happen in the final ...
