I highly recommend this book if you wish to be inspired about the caring and sacrificing one person can make. Rating: - three cups of teaAmazing story!! I also hope it is mandatory reading for our current administration and presidential hopefuls. Rating: - Three Cups of TeaThree Cups of Tea was one of the most moving books I've ever read. The need is so great, and we hope to help, as education IS an excellent way to let these children know we DO care about them. In this book, Mortenson briefly mentioned that the people he was visiting told a story of saving a United States soldier. That was a reference, I believe, to Marcus Luttrell. Luttrell wrote Lone Survivor, the story of the Navy Seals's mission; Luttrell was rescued by these wonderful people. Both books offer ...
