ignore all the negative reviews on amazon. obviously written by people who did not understand the film.
a great and true story of how one devoted christian changed world history, despite all the rich vested interests against him.
seventy years before lincoln, willberforce was trying to end the slave trade in the world and in the end succeeded.

For any true Rock 'n' Roll fan and any former members of the growing-up cultures of the Fifties and Sixties...Seventies too, you just can't let these two get away - "That'll Be The Day" and it's sequel, "Stardust".

It's a fabulous roller-coaster ride that isn't just limited to the fairground, depicting the social and musical changes of life in 1950's Britain as seen through the eyes of the young man who turns out to be 'the minstrel of a generation' - Jim Maclaine...very amicably portrayed by teen Pop idol (at the ... Now it has been over 7 years since he left bond, looking back upon his movies I can safely say they were and he was way overrated.

Goldeneye- Pierces best bond, memorable parts were the tank going through St Petersberg and the pre-titles jump sceane among others, and Brosnan looked as if he was going to a great bond but he quickly went downhill after this film.

Tomorrow never dies- has soom good moments, the action is quite good, but it's backstage issuses hurt the film in my opinion.

The world is not ... Read More:

Sigourney Weaver was nominated for an Oscar for this film, and should have won it. This is one of the finest portayals of passion bordering on obsession in film history. Weaver portrays Dian Fossey, in a story that sticks pretty close to the facts that were then known. Fossey, who was an amateur naturalist (as were Charles Darwin and Gregor Mendel), persuades (almost coerces) world-renowned archaeologist Louis Leakey into sponsoring her on an expedition to find, count, and study the mountain gorillas of Rwanda in central Africa. Thus begins Fossey's ... Read More:

After the disappointment of Tomorrow Never Days, it perhaps shouldn't have been too surprising that, as per the usual EON pattern of alternating good and bad Bond films, The World is Not Enough turned out rather well. It helps that it has a stronger plot this time round as well as some attempt at an element of mystery - along with For Your Eyes Only this is the only Bond where the identity of the real villain is withheld for the first half of the movie. It's also more character-based than usual, with some interesting dialogue that takes on a different dimension ... Read More:

This is the true life story of Country Music legend Lorreta Lynn's struggle from rags to riches. Sissy Spacek won an Oscar and supposedly did her own singing! Tommy Lee Jones playes supporting husband Mooney and Beverley D'Angelo gets to portray Patsy Cline. It's a truly great film, even if you're not a Country Music fan! I first saw this film twenty years ago and I can still remember certain details like the misery Lorretta Lynn lived in the Virginia Mountains before Mooney took her away.

If you're looking for a decent thriller to watch for a couple of hours then Blink is a good choice. It's not a spectacular movie, or one which you would probably want to watch again and again, but it is entertaining and worth seeing.

The best thing about this movie is Madeleine Stowe playing the blind woman, Emma Brody, who is given a transplant operation to help her see again. While her sight is returning she witnesses a murder committed by a brutal serial killer and becomes his next target. Stowe plays her character really well, making the blind ... Read More:

this is one of the best noirs to come out of the 80s ,it was adapted by micheal apted from martin cruz smith novel which is a study of the ordinary day to -day life in moscow as well as a terrific murder mystery .
this is muti-dimensional as it packs an intense drama with a love story as well as political corruption to give it a rich feel and despite all it's mutiple ambitions it suceeds in absorbing your attention at every level .
there are problems though ,helsinki is shown as moscow while the cast speak in a european rather then russian accents ,also ... Read More:
