| Amazing first half of the movie, delivers what you want...will smith as an alcoholic superhero who does more damage than he does justice. However, his later reformation, which could have been handled well, pulls down the movie. A slight dent upon this flick, if it were not for the dummest plotline ever in the second Half that will bore you to no end. Be rid of Charlize Theron and Possibly Jason Bateman, and this could have been an immense movie. |

| This film steals concepts from many other films and sellotapes them together to make this flimsy end product. The isolation Smith's character suffers, the conversations with his dog is reminiscent of of Castaway where Hanks talks to his football. | I was looking forward to this immensely. One of the first movies I have watched on my new Blu-Ray player, I was ready to be impressed!
Sadly, Hancock starts brilliantly but fades into a mish-mash of sentimentality and run-of-the-mill banality about a third of the way through. When there are special effects, they are top notch! Blu-Ray really shows off the lighting effects and the scene where Hancock is zooming between skyscapers looks amazing. Smith is convincing (if a little hammy) ... Read More: |

| After having seen the Dark Knight I wasn't expecting this to be any good, but it's Will Smith. Proving he had the talents in films such as I am Legend, he pulled a suprisingly believanle to superhero movie. And you can't compare to Batman, Superman, Spiderman etc ... they are completly different films. This isn't so much about the action scenes but focuses on how he turns his life around. I wasn't keen on the corny ending though but in the whole it did make a good film. I'm looking forward to sequel! A must see! |

| So where do i begin?
First things first; the movie itself is something remarkable and shows one of will smith's greatest and probably best performance he's done. From my opinion, if it weren't for him the movie would of probably been a bit rubbish. When i first saw the film; i must admit, i didn't think much of it but when i watched it again, i was completely blown away. | I can't believe the BBC ever commissioned this. It is badly written, badly acted, predictable, purile, boring. It's so poor it beggars belief. It is the kind of comedy that might appeal to a 10 year old who finds "rude" words funny irrespective of how, when or why they are used.
For the television company that has released more quality comedy than every other network in the English-speaking world put together to release this rubbish is simply shocking. Garbage... |

| I am a huge fan of all comedy programmes and i have to say this is definately up there with my favourites, ok its not exactly very mature (though it does raise interesting issues, honest) I have always loved it, and was abit worried as to how this would work with johnny.. So i was a little put off to watch it. Then i saw they were doing it live! Which appealed to me so i switched on, and it was magnifecent! They pulled off some pretty damn good stuff!

I watched this last night but missed the first ten minutes. Oscar is a dazzling fish, someone you would want in your own fish tank. Robert De Niro is quite the obvious being the Mafia Don - head of his shark family. Jack Black is his son Lenny. Lenny is an unfortunate vegetarian - unlikely for a shark, but quite funny and sensitive too. A good film. All characters are full of life and quite easy to work out. |
