These two films have to be two of the best Christmas films ever. They are absolutely hilarious and the 2nd is just as good as the 1st. Most people who like their Christmas films will enjoy these (well they should) because they are so funny. They are films for all the family and adults will love them just as much as kids! Definitely worth watching if you are into your fun-filled Christmas films!

This is feel-good viewing at its best - a charming, modern fairytale with Christina Ricci expertly leading a very strong cast as Penelope, the girl born with the face of a pig thanks to an age-old family curse. She is supported by a host of familiar faces, including Reese Witherspoon in a brief but memorable appearance as Penelope's new-found friend. James McAvoy plays Penelope's would-be suitor, and is perfectly cast as the loveable rogue.

With themes of rejection and self-acceptance ... Read More:

Despite Home Alone 1 being an absolute classic, I've always liked this better than the first. There's more of a story, more lovely scenes and more traps. I recommend both Home Alone 1 and 2, and possibly number 3. Enjoy! These are real Christmas treats!

'The Nightmare Before Christmas' is one of those wonderfully atmospheric films that has easily stood the test of time. It is as delightful and quirky now as when it was initially released. The stop-motion animation is superb and the dark Tim Burton Characters are perfect for the story. Danny Elfman provided the music and songs for this film and they stick in your head at first listen and you can't help but grin and sing along with subsequent viewings. The story is unique and fun and although it has a very dark turn to it, it is ... Read More:

The Baudelaire children lead a cushy life of reading books, inventing, and biting. One day at the beach Mr. Poe informs them of the unfortunate event of their house and parents burning down. They are then shuffled around to various unrelated relatives. At every turn they are perused by their uncle Count Olaf, who covets their inheritance. Trying to explain this to grownups is almost impossible.

Grate narration of the movie by Jude Law; he added a dimension that made you want to see what was happening next.

I've never read the books, it seems that if you have and like them you're not going to like the film. But i loved the film! Funny, well acted by all (and considering i have a pathological dislike of child actors thats sayings something!) and well directed...

Great way to spend an afternoon!

I can't believe that no-one has yet reviewed this film it came out in a fanfare of publicity and has been out on DVD for ages. Well here we go - this is a must-see for dog-owners.The film's premise is how a number of dogs are prepared for a dog show in America. The dogs aren't the problem - it is their kooky owners who range from the suburban anally retentive to the southern state in-bred red-necks. The humour is subtle, cruel and very funny and the film is a delight from beginning to end. Particularly hilarious is the ribald comments made by ... Read More:

We all know the story of Chicken Little (Zach Braff), the poor little chicken who tried to warn the town that the sky was falling only to have it turn out to be an acorn. But what happened to him after the story ended? That's what this movie tells us.

Turns out that Chicken Little is in middle school. His exploits of a year ago are an embarrassment to his father, Buck Cluck (Garry Marshall). And the fact that there are commemorative plates and an upcoming movie based on the story haven't done much for the father/son relationship.
